Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938–2018) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is "Flower Power" from 2007. It consists of sculptures with a tulip shape. They were crafted by hand with clear glass and swirling colorful streaks.
The series was in production until 2011.
Here are represented two flowers from the collection:
- Orange tulip - model 90735
- White tulip - model 90731
It is a beautiful addition to any collection of art glass, or a beautiful decor pieces of Mid Century Modern Style.
These sculptures are pieces of art that will make a great part of any art glass or Kosta Boda glass collections.
Great vintage condition - no chips or cracks, light wear consistent with age and use.
