A charming and historically significant collection of three miniature hardcover Beatrix Potter books, published by F. Warne & Co. Ltd.
These editions are in the distinctive, original small format, featuring paper-covered boards (hardcovers) with the classic circular tipped-in or on-lay illustrations.
This set features the original whimsical illustrations and beloved stories that have captivated generations.
Estimated Publishing Year: Circa 1920s - 1940s.
Dating Note: Beatrix Potter books were printed in many subsequent editions. The presence of 'F. Warne & Co. Ltd.' dates them to 1919 or later.
The overall vintage appearance suggests they are beautiful early-to-mid 20th-century editions.
Sold as a set of three books. Titles Included in This Set:
- The Tale of Benjamin Bunny (First published: 1904)
- The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher (First published: 1906)
- The Tale of Two Bad Mice (First published: 1904)
These are perfect pieces for the avid collector, or for adding an authentic, nostalgic touch to a nursery, child's room, or library shelf.
Condition - these are genuinely vintage items and are sold in "as-found," worn condition, which we believe adds to their irreplaceable charm and character as beloved classics.
