Antique pearl flower spray brooch set in silver, c. 19th century.
A beautiful and gentle brooch, representing a blooming flower, leaves on stem and little bulbs.
Fully studded with natural seed pearls of 1mm to 4mm in size. Pearls have lustre and a warm undertone. The Sterling Silver setting was gold plated at the back side, but over time, it wore off.
The brooch features a hand manufactured tube hinge snd C-clasp fastening, both made in brass (according to it's metal colour), the pin and clasp function very well.
The workmanship and detailing of this piece is amazing!
Great antique condition - no missing stones, breaks, or cracks. Some natural patina is present.
No hallmarks present.
