An extremely rare and unusual antique pendant from the early 20th century, c.1900s.
At its heart is a deep cobalt-blue satin glass “man in the moon” face, which can rotate freely within its setting.
Around it sits a sparkling halo of old paste stones, all closed-back set for maximum shimmer.
The metal mount is unmarked but has the look and feel of silver work of the period.
This is a whimsical mix of Art Deco elegance and celestial charm - perfect for lovers of vintage jewellery, night sky motifs, and unusual, conversation-starting pieces. The glow of the moon face under the light is especially magical.
Great antique condition - there are no cracks or major chips, only a tiny rim flake on the blue glass that’s invisible without magnification, and a few faint surface marks you’d need to hunt for. The spinner mechanism works well, with only a slight side-to-side movement at the axle, and feels secure.
Hallmarks - no hallmarks present.
