Antique hand made beaded purse, c. 1920s.
Wonderfully hand crafted glass beaded purse with playful fringe at the base.
Black glass beads forms nice background for silverish glass beads with flecks of red, blue, green and other colours.
Silver matt colour metal chain is attached to 5pcs matching rings and can be easily detached and/or replaced.
The purse is unlined, each glass bead is manually sewn to the nett base. At the inner side of the top edge there was attached a silk strap (approx 1cm width) most probably to reinforce edge and rings attaching points. This strap, with age and use, was ripped in several places and poorly secured at the moment. It is not visible from outside and it could be easily removed if it bothers you, I just kept it as it is to preserve purse in original condition as much as possible.
Beautiful accessory for your evening gown, party dress, or date look.
Great antique condition - no missing beads, or holes, some wear signs on metal parts consistent with age and use.
