A rare and beautifully preserved Georgian choker/collar necklace, c. 1700s, crafted in silver and adorned with classic black-dot paste stones - a hallmark of 18th century craftsmanship.
This piece features warm rose-gold overlay accents, adding soft contrast and authentic period charm.
The necklace is composed of individually linked clusters, each formed from 3–4 rounded paste and/or rose gold-set beads, creating a flexible and elegant collar.
It closes securely with an original Georgian slide-lock clasp.
At its center hangs an exquisite Fleur-de-Lis pendant, made in two parts: a triangular connector set with mixed paste and rose-gold beads, and a fully walled (closed-back) paste-set drop in an ornate openwork fleur-de-lis design.
The back of the pendant and necklace settings is also closed, as is typical for early paste jewels meant to enhance the brilliance of the stones.
Authentic Georgian paste necklaces of this type are exceptionally rare today, especially complete collar-style pieces with their original pendant and slide clasp intact.
During the late 18th and early 19th centuries, high-quality paste jewellery was crafted with remarkable skill and was often worn alongside genuine gemstones.

Great antique condition - with age-appropriate wear to the paste stones and metal surfaces. Only one tiny paste stone is missing on the lower right side of the fleur-de-lis pendant. It also appears that a small additional drop or suspension originally hung from the lower edge of the fleur-de-lis detail, but it is no longer present. Other than these noted points, there are no missing stones, links, or structural issues. The clasp functions well and the necklace remains beautifully intact for its age.
