This exceptional antique ring dates from the early 1900s, reflecting the refined elegance of the Edwardian period transitioning into the geometric artistry of early Art Deco design.
Crafted in the traditional combination of high-purity 19.2k Portuguese gold with a silver-topped setting, it showcases the exquisite metalwork characteristic of fine Iberian jewellery of the era.
At its center sits an old-cut natural diamond measuring approximately 4 mm (about 0.25ct), displaying the soft glow and hand-faceted charm unique to early diamond cutting styles.
Surrounding it is a beautifully arranged halo of 12 brilliant-cut diamonds*, each around 2 mm in diameter (approx. 0.36ct total).
*One of the brilliant cut diamonds was replaced wit a rose cut diamond at some point (please refer to the photos).
These are complemented by an additional 22 rose-cut diamonds measuring 1–1.5 mm, adding antique sparkle and texture throughout the cluster.
Altogether, the ring carries an estimated total diamond weight of ~0.60ct.
The ornate oval cluster motif, complete with bezel settings and subtle migraine detail, reflects the craftsmanship of the period - delicate, elegant, and full of character.
Great antique condition -no damaged areas, or missing stones, minimal wear consistent with age.
