Antique bohemian cut butterfly garnet brooch made in low-carat “garnet gold” with tunnel hinge pin and C-clasp.
This wonderful butterfly brooch is articulated - her body and lower wings are moving (could be seen on the video) and make her look almost alive and ready to fly away.
The C-clasp was replaced (very carefully) at some point and locks tightly.
The colour of the garnets is deep cherry red.
The stones varies in sizes and it adds more structure to the wings and body.
Condition is excellent, only one tiny stone is missing from the body of the butterfly, which is absolutely unnoticeable.
